The following suggestions have been found to be of help to many of our customers although they are not guaranteed to work for everyone.
If a problem persisits, we recommend first of all seeing your GP and then considering making an appointment with our herbalist for a more in-depth consultation and treatment.
The following may prove helpful for constipation (try in order below)

Ensure min 1 ½ litres fluid, activity and sufficient fruit and fibre in diet eg wholegrains, dried figs/prunes, green veg etc

1-2 tbs Flax seeds/linseeds on cereal (or soaked overnight) plus plenty of water

1-2tbs Psyllium husks with minimum 1 1/2 litre water daily or Lepicol (psyllium husks with probiotics)

For occasional use, try Senna herbal preparations or laxative teas

For longterm problems/sluggish systems, try Lamberts Eliminex (prebiotic) and Barley Grass powder

Viridian or Lamberts probiotics and/or Digestive enzymes may also be helpful especially if constipation follows antibiotic treatment and/or treatment for more serious digestive disorders.

Consider cutting our wheat and cows milk for 2-4 weeks while increasing other wholegrains, fruit, veg and fluids to see if beneficial effect.
